Черный джазовый кот,
Захмелевший слегка.
И присел над пивком
Алкоголик. Рассказ
Не прервал о себе,
О гитаре – чужой.
Как играл он и пел,
Как он лез на рожон.
Слушал жадно народ,
Жадно пиво глотал,
И в распахнутый рот
К ним тихонько влетал
Тот заигранный джаз,
Что когда-то звучал
В кабачке. Без ножа
Резал время начал
И конца. Но опять
Заиграл гитарист.
В кабачке все вопят,
Снова требуют: «Бис!»
И запутался в балках
Над нашим столом
Старый трубочный дым.
Зимний дождь за стеклом.
